Ryan’s debut children’s album “Songs for Nap Time and Night Time” has been met with critical acclaim. “Parents, too, will find some much needed peace on McIntyre’s first children’s album, although little kids aren’t a requirement for this relaxed listen.” – Piet Levy (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
Ryan is busy booking events playing children’s music in a variety of settings including birthday parties, pre-schools, and grade schools, day care centers, and festivals.
“When performing for a group of kids, I strive to make an impact on the children through music, just as music made an impact on me as a young child. My number one goal is to make it fun for the kids, the parents, and the teachers. Each event features a combination of silliness, dancing, and singing along to familiar songs, along with the opportunity for the kids to play with a series of simple instruments.”
“I was introduced to music at a very early age. By the age of 3, my grandmother had taught me a variety of patriotic songs which I would exuberantly belt out at home, restaurants, grocery stores, basically anywhere. There is no doubt that the reason I play music for a living today is because of the positive influence and encouragement I received while being introduced to music at a young age.”
“These days, I love spending time at home by encouraging my daughters to listen, sing, and most of all…appreciate music.”
Macy is 6 and Kaia is 3.
